I lived in California and my husband lives in New York, and we spoke for a few months. He came to visit me and my family in March 2013 and it was one of the most amazing tIMe of my life. We ended up getting engaged. We than got married in August 2013. We both live in New York and I love it. We have been married for almost 2 years now. I was going through a rough time in my life and did not have the time or energy to spend on a new relationship. But there was a message waiting for me from a certain Moose1975: ‘‘hard to believe, but I think I meet several of your criteria’’; I had outlined a zillion very specific criteria for the man of my dreams and was sceptical about finding a match! Because I wanted to suspend my profile, I decided that Moose1975 was the last guy I spoke to before suspending my profile. And it turned out to be the LAST guy I EVER spoke to on Arablounge and dating websites! We spent one year in a long distance relationship. With 500km (6 hour-drive) between us, we still managed to see each other almost every week-end and spoke on the phone every night. He then got a job offer and moved to where I was. Our relationship was as great living in the same city as when we were apart. Besides, we had the same values and goals for the future. So my beau came to ask for my hand.
